I have been a long time user of iclickr for my iPod touch and was excited to see what improvements would come with iclickr for the iPad. It definitely does not disappoint! The ability to switch between powerpoint presentations on the fly is incredible! I worked flawlessly with my MBP by creating my own local network (had some trouble attempting to do the same with an ad-hoc on a windows laptop but believe it to be the fault of the laptop not the program). 4 Law Students were able to each utilize the app last night with less than 10 minutes of instruction. It worked perfectly, allowing them to change between presentations as necessary during a mock trial. The guest Judge and other students were deeply impressed by the performance, I was deeply impressed by the ease of use and effectiveness of the app. The Jump To feature works easily and intuitively, and with the larger area of the iPad seeing your notes and slides was easier than ever. It took us a few minutes to realize that "pause" would blank the screen, but that worked beautifully as well. The only thing I wish for would be the ability to annotate while working through a mac. For some reason that option appears when working with a PC and it can be really helpful to add notations to screen during a presentation. At $9.99 its a little expensive, but to be fair to the creator it is the same price as the full iPhone version so at least theyre not upping the cost! Would have been nice to have seen it as an update to my existing App, but given the new features/layout/design and functionality Im happy to continue to support Senstic and hope they continue to provide such incredible solutions! Pros: Easy to set up, easy to use, fast switching between power points, intuitive controls Cons: No annotations when set up with a Mac Wishes for future: Annotations through Mac, including a pen tool and the ability to change the colors of the annotations from Red to any color. Also, would be nice if the annotations would appear with less delay. If you ever have to run a powerpoint show for any purpose this app is great, if you ever need to be able to show multiple powerpoints at a time, this app is perfect!
App runs very well, tech support stayed with problem until resolved. FYI-Bluetooth must be off for app to function, (seems to be an apple issue).
I am a preacher and used both Keynote & PowerPoint for classes. This app is crazy good! It has really stepped up my presentation power. It crashes every so ofter during the presentation (thats the reason for 4 stars) but easily re-establishes connection when rerun! A little work on stability and this is my favorite app hands down!
Overall this is a good app. Much better than spending $70 on a remote presentation mouse. Being a Pastor and using PowerPoint all the time this has been great! Looking for more updates!
This has worked great for me in the classroom. Especially handy for reading your notes while delivering the presentation. Would be 5 stars if it would let you see your animation on the iPad screen. Otherwise, Im VERY pleased. Add the ability to see animation and I would use this exclusively for all PowerPoint presentations.
This product works well and allows me to use my iPad to control Keynote and PowerPoints. Nice features. Had some issues with OSX Lion, BUT their customer support was fantastic in resolving the issue. Kudos to them!! I do not give praise easily, but they deserve it!! They were on their A game!

Some bad moments

I have a 44 pages PowerPoint running on my MacBook Pro, i never able to use this app and walk through the entire PowerPoint without crashing.
PowerPoint will not load and run properly. Followed all directions, read the FAQs.
I really tried to get it to work. It was awkward in its setup and execution and horribly unstable. Useless.
This app is really poor and not worth its price. Unfriendly user interface, hanging and unresponsive. Id never use it for a pro presentation. 2 stars because I believe this will get better in the future. The general idea is cool, but the implementation - unfinished. Sometimes it simply stops responding to NEXT/PREV SLIDE button. If you click too fast, youll experience some nasty behavior. You have to wait until the transition finishes. Otherwise it will be stopped and restarted. So it keeps running again and again without moving you forward. This is veeery annoying
Ive been emailing the company for months now trying to get the app to work. They have been responsive, but have been unable to get it to work. It basically works like a remote and Im not able to see the presentation on the ipad. This is worthless to me and a waste of money. If they can resolve the problem, it is a great idea and I would love to see it function as promised.
It has the potential to be a great app, however connecting to Mac by wifi or ad hoc is tricky, connection is unstable and app tends to freeze during presentation. Support so far has been quick … expensive app and I hope they get it to be more stable. Other developers have a pen function so you can write on slide during presentation … for this price They should have this function … all in all it is almost brilliant
